The Best Performance awards for the 2018 season, selected by the Sprint Racing Committee, have just been announced. Congratulations to all of the winning paddlers. These will be presented at the social event following the SRC ACM on the 13th October.
Congratulations go to Norwich Canoe Club who have been confirmed as the highest scoring club on the inter-club medal table for 2018.
Norwich Canoe Club, with the most points (medal winners) across all the National Championship Regatta events in 2018, will be presented with a K2 donated by the Performance Programme. This will be presented, alongside the trophy presentations, at the Sprint Racing ACM on 13 October at Wey Kayak Club. Tickets for the meal and entertainment that follows this event are still available until 30th September.
The inter-club medal table was a tally, by club, of the National medals awarded across all sprint national Regatta events. All National Championship, Paddle-Ability, and Mini-Sprint medals were included in the score. The scoring started at the May Regatta with the Masters Championships.

Points are allocated as follows:
Gold medal = 3 points
Silver medal = 2 points
Bronze medal = 1 point

The Final Result will be announced as possible after the deadline for queries.
Remember, the top medal scoring club will be presented with a K2 donated by the Performance Department. This will be presented at the Trophy Presentations afternoon after the Annual Consultative Meeting on the 13th October at Wey Kayak Club. Tickets for the social evening, meal and music following the ACM are £5 and can be booked by emailing Jim Rossiter on Chairman@weykayak.co.uk
Attached are details of this year’s Annual Consultative Meeting for the Sprint Racing Section. This will take place on Saturday 13 October 2018 to start at 15.00. It will be held at Wey Kayak Club, Riverside, Bellfield, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 1LW.
SRC ACM 2018 – Letter and Agenda
This year we are trying a new format for the ACM meeting so that you can make a day or even weekend of it.

It would be great to see representatives from as many clubs as possible at the ACM.
